I am an experienced Counsellor offering a range of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centred with creative techniques.

I have been counselling for 11yrs and am CBT trained, person-centred with creative techniques. My model is using techniques that challenge thought processes to help change come about with further exploration. I am a skilled listener which enhances the relationship between my client and myself. I encourage my client to become autonomous which enabled others to explore life challenges to making changes.

My qualifications are in CBT, person-centred where I studied and gained an advantaged diploma in therapeutic counselling.  I then went on to study Bereavement and gained a foundation certificate with CRUSE bereavement care.  Further to this I then went onto study for a Post diploma in counselling children and young people, where I gained more skill and knowledge in working in a different way other than talking therapies. I have an interest in particular difficulties that impact daily life, such as anger, self-esteem, depression, relationships, domestic violence, and abuse are all parts of studies I have studied and work with to enable me to gain a therapeutic understanding and knowledge to offer in my practice.

My values in counselling are about building trust, safety, and rapport which are the core values of person-centred counselling. I believe my clients have a right to validation, nurturing, and respect.

  • Depression
  • Self-harm
